Matelux is a clear white float glass with acid-frosted surface on one side. Matelux glass has a satin finish and a neutral, translucent appearance. It filters light softly, smoothes out contours and produces silhouettes in a variety of both interior and exterior applications.
Advantages:
- appearance: the acid-frosting technique can be used to gently obscure the surface of the glass. Treating the surface in this way guarantees translucent glass with a satin finish noted for its fine grain.
- ease of maintenance: Highly stain-resistant, Matelux can be cleaned using clear water only without any special detergent.
- high light transmission: Matelux has the same light transmission as float glass, attaining levels of up to 90%, depending on its thickness.
Lacomat is a clear Planibel float glass coated on one side with a matte-finish paint. Lacomat is highly resistant to stains on the varnish side, especially fingerprints and provides more privacy than acid-etched Matelux.
